The most important ingredients of CHAMOMILLA hand cream are:
- Sorbitol is a type of sugar found in fruit, having hydrating effects, also acting as a skin conditioner. It moisturises the skin, preventing moist loss, while having softening and conditioning effects.
- Glyceryl Stearate acts as a lubricant on the skin surface, making it soft and fluffy, helping it to achieve the feeling of smoothness and agility. It also has hydrating qualities by slowing down water loss from the skin when forming the barrier on the skin surface.
- Propylene glycol is an efficient humectant, powerful as far as skin and hair penetration is concerned, providing great hydration, while keeping natural moist of hair and skin. It attaches large amounts of water to itself, thus preventing water loss in cosmetic products, as well as in the skin. It has emollient and lubricant qualities, therefore increasing permeability of cosmetic active substances through the skin, also improving easy-spreading of the product.
- Lanolin is an emollient and conditioner with hydrating effects on the skin, which penetrates deeply in the skin, efficiently making it hydrated and soft by healing cracked parts, helping its treatment.
- Dimethicone has emollient effect on the hair, making it soft and gentle by covering it with invisible film which prevents moist loss, helping the hair to become smooth by filling the irregularities on the skin surface.
- Oleyl Alcohol is a skin conditioner, but also an emollient with medium lubricity, which softens the skin, giving it smooth and gentle look.
- Bisabolol originate for chamomile and has soothing effect on irritated and sensitive skin, reduces redness of the skin, and prevents itchiness. It has efficient antimicrobial effect. It is also strong antioxidant and protects the skin from different negative external influences. Bisabolol helps dry skin, making it moist.
- Lemon acid acts as an exfoliator, removing the upper part of the dead cells of the skin, making new cells development faster, as well as helping in the process of pores cleansing. It also acts as an antioxidant, protecting skin from different types of external influences. It also helps dry skin to become more moisture. It has buffer effect, helping to keep pH value of the product, stabilising active substances at the same time.
